Similar to how banks are insured by the FDIC, our credit union is insured by the NCUA and is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States. Deposits are insured up to at least $250,000 per individual depositor.

Who Can Join?

It’s easy for almost anyone to join Alabama ONE.

If you receive electrical power from or work for any of the 23 Alabama Rural Electric Coops, such as Tallapoosa River, Coosa Valley, or Central Alabama, or are related to someone who does, you can join. If you live, work, or worship in one of 34 counties in Alabama, you can join. If you are an owner or an employee of a business that is a Special Employee Group, you can join. If you donate to the Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation, you can join. Immediate family members of anyone qualifying are also eligible.
